Jungfraujoch is also known as the Top of Europe, although there are many other places and platforms that are higher than it. The main reason of it being famous is the railway station which is the highest in all Europe. Jungfraujoch is a glacier that connects two mountains Jungfrau and Monch and the railway station on the top is just super amazing.
To reach here, you will take the train from the Interlaken OST station which is not very far from Mürren. The train ride plus the unbelievable views during the journey are going to mesmerize you all the way up to a 7 kilometers tunnel and after the tunnel you will reach the Jungfraujoch station. The First Flieger or the First Flyer is the name of a Zip-Line that is located above the gondola station in Grindelwald. The First Flyer operates between April to October and stays closed in bad weather conditions.
The Inferno Triathlon
If you are in Mürren in summer, this event cannot be missed. The Inferno Triathlon is considered as one of the most difficult mountain triathlons in the world.
