The park also has a visitor’s center that has a covered shelter to protect the visitors from bad weather as rains are unexpected in Singapore. The park also has vending machines and public toilets. Floating Wetlands near Fernvale Singapore
There is a floating wetland besides Sengkang Riverside Park that connects the park with a superb sports complex. This floating wetland was officially opened by the Prime Minister of Singapore, Lee Hsien Loong in November 2010. This floating wetland which is about half the size of a football field helps to collect and filter rainwater naturally with the help of aquatic plants. The wetland is also home to fish, some wildlife and birds. The wetland has attracted a lot of dragonflies since its construction.
Along with the parameters of the wetlands, there is a beautiful trail which is called “Fruit Tree Trail”. Sengkang Hockey Stadium
This amazing hockey stadium is located very next to the Senkang Riverside Park and is a wonderful venue for the famous international sports. It is part of the Senkang Sports Center.
