Hatta is a small town which is part of the emirate of Dubai. It is located in Hajar Mountains at a distance of around 130 kilometers from the main city of Dubai near the border of Oman. Hatta is famous for its spectacular scenery and a slow-paced lifestyle in contrast with the fast lifestyle of the cities. Hatta is a superb get-away from the busy routine and an excellent spot for adventure, hiking, kayaking, and mountain biking. Hatta remains a great outdoor destination in summer when it becomes difficult to enjoy outdoor activities in other areas. The temperature of Hatta remains cooler and attracts many resident families of UAE.
You can reach Hatta from Dubai within 2 hours in your car. The drive is also pleasant with smooth roads that lead to the town. Being next to the border of Oman, the town reflects a little Omani culture as well. The place is getting famous as one of the top outdoor tourist attractions of Dubai.
