When you hear Ferrari World, three things pop up in your mind, world’s first Ferrari Themed Park, world’s fastest rollercoaster and world’s highest rollercoaster loop. Would you love to try them or are you scared of the rollercoasters? Believe me they are very safe and once you will ride them, you will want to ride them again for sure. Ferrari World offers an all in one package at the park that includes rides, attractions, shows, great dining and shopping experience. The park is open daily from 11 am to 8 pm.

Ferrari World is not only about rides but a complete experience of a Ferrari themed indoor park. The shiny Red building of the indoor themed park is a display of art itself. Ferrari World is located at Yas Island, Abu Dhabi which is the center of entertainment to all the big events and shows including the formula 1 race. Yas Island has a lot to offer including Warner Bros experience and Yas Waterworld, which is a superb place for water rides. Ferrari World is about a 20 minutes’ drive from Center of Abu Dhabi City and around 50 minutes’ drive from Jumeirah Beach Residences, Dubai which is the most famous residential area of Dubai.

History and Design of Ferrari World

Ferrari and Aldar properties signed an agreement in 2005 to build the world’s first Ferrari themed park in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The foundation stone was laid in 2007, it took 3 years of completion and the park was opened in November 2010. The design of building specially the roof catches everybody’s eyes. The roof which is inspired by a side profile of a Ferrari GT was designed by Benoy Architects. The Ferrari Logo that has been placed in the roof can be seen from miles away from the sky.

Ferrari World Abu Dhabi has won many hearts and many awards as well. The property has won “Middle East’s Leading Tourist Attraction” award, “Middle East’s Leading Theme Park” award and “Middle East’s Best Theme Park” Award. The park is built over an area of 86,000 Square meters.

Most of us will definitely go to Ferrari World because of the rides and to see how they have merged the Ferrari theme with the environment in this park. The visit to the park is truly amazing. The parking is huge, and you never have any trouble with the parking. You can access the building from the car park. Do not forget to take a picture with the large Ferrari Logo just before entering the building.

Being the only themed park in the world that offers Ferrari driving experience, the park stays open every day for the 365 days of the year. There are more than 37 rides and attractions in the park. Including the world’s fastest rollercoaster. The park also offers free bus shuttle service from majority of the Dubai malls like Dubai Mall, Dubai Marina Mall, Mall of the Emirates and Diera City Center etc.

To offer a great experience the park has provided facilities like lockers, baby feeding and changing rooms, strollers on rent, prayer rooms, ATMs and separate smoking rooms. One single entry ticket cost is around 295 AED per person. It is recommended to always check the rides availability before going to the Ferrari World. At times some rides are closed for maintenance and you might have a horrible experience missing the world’s fastest rides after traveling so far and paying for the entree tickets.

There are 5 zones in the Ferrari World which are classified by Welcome Zone, Family Zone, F1 Zone, Italian Zone and Adventure Zone. These zones are themed accordingly with the classifications and providing the experiences accordingly. You can watch an informative video at a grand 1920s Italian cinema about Enzo Ferrari who brought his Ferrari dream to life.

There are serval shows to entertain visitors with acrobats, optical illusions, gravity defying stunts and the loveable characters in costumes that make appearances to amuse children throughout the day. You can buckle up and drive a Ferrari with a trained instructor. You can sign up for an electric go-karting session and experience the thrill on a 290 meters long track. You can also experience a 3D advanced stimulator and feel what its like to drive a Ferrari.

Formula Rosa: The center of attraction of the Ferrari World, the World’s fastest rollercoaster with a speed that reaches from 0 to 249 km/h in 4.9 seconds at the heights of 52 meters.

Flying Aces: Flying Aces Ferrari World is the World’s highest rollercoaster loop. You can experience a scane of 63m at a 51-degree incline with a speed of 120 km/h.
